हाथ के अग्रभाग में माता लक्ष्मी, मध्य भाग में माँ सरस्वती और मूल (कलाई) में भगवान गोविंद (श्रीकृष्ण) का वास है। अतः प्रातःकाल अपनी हथेलियों का दर्शन करना चाहिए।

Goddess Lakshmi dwells at the tips of the fingers, Goddess Saraswati resides in the palm's center, and Lord Govinda abides at the base of the hand. Hence, one must view one's palms upon waking up.

समुद्र रूपी वस्त्र धारण करने वाली, पर्वत रूपी वक्षस्थल वाली और भगवान विष्णु की अर्धांगिनी हे धरती माता! आपको मेरा नमन। मुझ अज्ञानी के चरण स्पर्श को क्षमा करें।

O Mother Earth, robed by the vast oceans, adorned with majestic mountains, the sacred consort of Lord Vishnu! Please forgive me as I touch You with my feet today.

हे परमात्मा! मुझे असत्य से सत्य की ओर ले चलें, अंधकार (अज्ञान) से प्रकाश (ज्ञान) की ओर ले चलें, और मृत्यु से अमरत्व (मोक्ष) की ओर ले चलें। त्रिविध तापों की शांति हो।

Lead me from untruth to truth; lead me from darkness of ignorance to the light of wisdom; lead me from mortality to immortality. Om Peace, Peace, Peace.

संसार के सभी प्राणी सुखी हों, सभी रोगमुक्त (स्वस्थ) हों, सभी का कल्याण हो और कोई भी प्राणी दुःख का भागी न बने।

May all beings everywhere be happy; may all beings be free from disease; may all perceive what is good and auspicious; may no one suffer sorrow. Peace, Peace, Peace.

परमात्मा हम दोनों (गुरु और शिष्य) की साथ-साथ रक्षा करें, हमारा साथ-साथ पोषण करें, हम मिलकर ज्ञान की शक्ति अर्जित करें, हमारा अध्ययन तेजस्वी हो और हम आपस में कभी द्वेष न करें।

May the Divine protect us both (teacher and student); may He nourish us together; may we work together with great energy; may our study be brilliant and enlightened; may there be no animosity between us.

भोजन का अर्पण ब्रह्म है, हविष्य (अन्न) ब्रह्म है, ब्रह्म रूपी अग्नि में ब्रह्म रूप कर्ता द्वारा ही आहुति दी जा रही है। जो सबमें ब्रह्म का दर्शन करता है, वह निश्चित ही ब्रह्म को प्राप्त होता है। (गीता 4.24)

The act of offering is Brahman; the oblation of food is Brahman; poured by Brahman into the fire of Brahman. One who sees Brahman in all actions attains Brahman. (Bhagavad Gita 4.24)

वरदान देने वाली और मनोरथ पूर्ण करने वाली ज्ञान की देवी माँ सरस्वती! आपको मेरा नमन। मैं विद्या का आरंभ कर रहा हूँ, मुझ पर ऐसी कृपा करें कि मुझे सदा सफलता प्राप्त हो।

Salutations to Mother Saraswati, giver of boons and fulfilled wishes. As I embark on my learning, please grant me unceasing success, memory, and discernment.

हे परमात्मा! आप ही मेरी माता हैं और आप ही मेरे पिता हैं। आप ही मेरे बंधु हैं और आप ही मेरे सखा हैं। आप ही मेरी विद्या हैं और आप ही मेरा धन हैं। हे देवों के देव! आप ही मेरे सर्वस्व हैं।

You alone are my Mother and my Father; You alone are my Kin and my dear Friend; You alone are my Wisdom and my true Wealth; O Lord of lords, You alone are my All-in-All.

गुरु ही ब्रह्मा हैं, गुरु ही विष्णु हैं और गुरु ही देवाधिदेव महेश्वर (शिव) हैं। गुरु साक्षात परब्रह्म हैं, उन श्री गुरुदेव को मेरा कोटि-कोटि प्रणाम है।

The Guru is Brahma (creator of vision), the Guru is Vishnu (sustainer of wisdom), and the Guru is Shiva (transformer of ignorance). The Guru is indeed the Supreme Parabrahman; salutations to that revered Master.

शरीर से, वाणी से, मन से, इंद्रियों से, बुद्धि से अथवा अपने स्वभाव के अनुसार जो कुछ भी कर्म मैं करता हूँ, वह सब मैं परम प्रभु भगवान श्री नारायण को सादर समर्पित करता हूँ।

Whatever actions I perform with my body, speech, mind, senses, intellect, or through my natural disposition, I offer them all unto the lotus feet of the Supreme Lord Narayana.

समस्त संकटों को हरने वाले, सब प्रकार की संपत्तियों को देने वाले और संपूर्ण संसार को आनंदित करने वाले मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम प्रभु श्री राम को मैं बारंबार नमन करता हूँ।

I bow again and again to Lord Shri Rama, the joy of all the worlds, who relieves every distress and bestows all auspicious fortunes.
