॥ Verse 1 ॥
सर्वमङ्गलमाङ्गल्ये शिवे सर्वार्थसाधिके । शरण्ये त्र्यम्बके गौरि नारायणि नमोऽस्तु ते ॥ १ ॥
Hindi Meaning:

समस्त मंगलों का भी मंगल करने वाली, कल्याणकारिणी, सब पुरुषार्थों को सिद्ध करने वाली, शरणागतवत्सला, त्रिनेत्रा हे गौरी! आपको मेरा कोटि-कोटि नमन है।

English Translation: Auspiciousness of all auspiciousness, ever benevolent, fulfiller of all aspirations, refuge of the surrendered, three-eyed Goddess Gauri, salutations to You.
॥ Verse 2 ॥
सौभाग्यदायिनीं देवीं मंगलां मंगलास्पदाम् । प्रणमामि जगद्धात्रीं गौरीं शङ्करवल्लभाम् ॥ २ ॥
Hindi Meaning:

अखंड सौभाग्य प्रदान करने वाली, मंगलों की आधार, जगत का पालन करने वाली और भगवान शंकर की प्रिय पत्नी माता मंगला गौरी को मैं प्रणाम करता हूँ।

English Translation: Bestower of unbroken marital auspiciousness and good fortune, embodiment and abode of all blessedness, sustainer of the world, beloved of Shankara, I bow to Gauri.
॥ Verse 3 ॥
कुंकुमालेपनां रम्यां दिव्यवस्त्राभरणान्विताम् । पुत्रपौत्रप्रदां भक्तां मंगलां प्रणमाम्यहम् ॥ ३ ॥
Hindi Meaning:

कुंकुम के लेप से सुशोभित, अति सुंदर, दिव्य वस्त्रों और आभूषणों से अलंकृत तथा भक्तों को पुत्र-पौत्र और वंशवृद्धि का वरदान देने वाली मंगला गौरी को नमन है।

English Translation: Adorned with vermilion paste, charming, embellished with celestial silks and jewels, granter of sons, grandsons, and lineage prosperity, to Mangala Gauri I bow.
॥ Verse 4 ॥
दारिद्र्यदुःखशमनीं सर्वशत्रुविमर्दिनीम् । कामधेनुसमां देवीं भजेऽहं मंगलां पराम् ॥ ४ ॥
Hindi Meaning:

दरिद्रता और दुःखों का शमन करने वाली, समस्त आंतरिक व बाह्य शत्रुओं का मर्दन करने वाली तथा कामधेनु के समान सभी इच्छाएं पूर्ण करने वाली पराशक्ति मंगला का मैं भजन करता हूँ।

English Translation: Dispeller of poverty and sorrow, crusher of all adversaries, fulfiller of wishes like Kamadhenu, I worship the supreme Goddess Mangala.
॥ Verse 5 ॥
मंगलागौरीव्रतमिदं यः करोति सदा नरः । तस्य गेहे भवेन्नित्यं मंगलं सुखसम्पदः ॥ ५ ॥
Hindi Meaning:

जो भक्त माता मंगला गौरी का पूजन और स्तुति श्रद्धापूर्वक करता है, उसके घर में नित्य मंगल, सुख, शांति और अखंड संपदा का वास होता है।

English Translation: Whoever observes the adoration and praise of Mangala Gauri with devotion finds eternal auspiciousness, peace, and abundance dwelling within their home.

  • ✦ प्रातःकाल स्नानादि से निवृत्त होकर शुद्ध श्वेत या पीले वस्त्र धारण करें।
  • ✦ पूजा स्थान में माँ मंगला गौरी की प्रतिमा या चित्र स्थापित कर शुद्ध घी का दीपक जलाएं।
  • ✦ रोली, अक्षत, सुगंधित पुष्प व नैवेद्य अर्पित कर आचमन करें।
  • ✦ एकाग्र चित्त होकर मंगल गौरी स्तुति का श्रद्धापूर्वक पाठ करें व अंत में आरती करें।
